BCV Reflection Workshop among Community Citizens
Approximately 30 participants, who from diversity based in 13 provinces, joined the reflection workshop at Building Community Voices (BCV) office in Phnom Penh, from 28 to 29 July, 2016.
Participants are from Preah Vihear, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kampong Chhnang, Porsat, Pailin, Odor Meanchoy, Rotanakiri, Kampong Speu, Kratie, Steung Traeng, Kampong Thom and Tboung Khmum. They are community journalists, advisory groups, indigenous.
The reflection workshop has three objectives such as, to make reflection of BCV works with community, to review and find out good points from community in order to provide real needs to community, to seek good recommendations from stakeholders for improving efficiency in implementation.
The reflection workshop is a part of activity that BCV implementing to find out real needs and good recommendations from local citizens including land dispute and forest protection activists.
For recommendations in the workshop, BCV will be inputted the strategy plan 2016 -2018, good recommendations received from community citizens will help BCV works more efficient.
The needs and actual situations, donors and community engagement are essential in implementing the strategy plan more efficient.
