The 5th Community Photo Exhibition

The community said in the event of Community Photo Exhibition 2017 at Bophana center on 28 November.
The Community photo is aimed to set up a peaceful campaign for publicly demonstrated about community development and community issues through photo exhibition by their own communities’ photos, and to motivate grassroots using community media to expose their real life from their communities.
The year 2017 is the 5th Community Photo Exhibition, there have 26 photographers from local community citizen across 25 provinces and capital cities in Cambodia, at least 16% as women, joining community photo exhibition 2017 under the theme of “The Real Life of Communities”.
Late 2016, communities across Cambodia had participated in the Annual Community Reflection workshop in Phnom Penh, they were included and active participation to raise up their community challenging, community development, and community issues, and they are concerning how to publicly demonstrated community issues by using community media skills, in order to get public opinions what they are thinking about community issues? What are they going to contribute to a community? One campaign has been pop-up in the workshop widely known Community Photo Exhibition, they finally decided the theme for photo exhibition 2017 is “The Real Life of Communities”.
Since mid 2008, there have more over 300 community citizens got skills and training from Building Community Voices (B.C.V) to produce and disseminate the community development and community information including Community Radio Producer, Radio Drama, Community Documentary (Film), Photography, Community Journalists, Computer Skill and Sound Editing, those Community citizens are working as volunteer recruiting by each community from different provinces across Cambodia including Indigenous.
