Building Community Voices (BCV) is seeking a qualified firm or individual consultant to conduct a Final Project Evaluation and document Case Studies for our current environmental and community development project
Project Overview
- Project Title: Improving Community Livelihoods through Eco-tourism and Natural Resource Conservation.
- Project ID: KHM/CBA3/2023/02.+2
- Location: Chie Puk and Ngoy Villages, Kbal Tuek Commune, Teuk Phos District, Kampong Chhnang Province.
- Duration: 19 months (October 2024 – April 2026).
- Funded by: UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP)
Main Objectives: The project aims to build the capacity of the Prey Thom Anlong Thmor Community Protected Area members (625 people, including 346 women) to adapt to climate change. Key activities include eco-tourism development, climate-resilient agriculture (shelf gardening and agroforestry), women’s savings groups, and forest conservation efforts.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for two primary components:
Case Study Documentation (05 Cases)
- Purpose: To capture success stories, best practices, and lessons learned to share with the community and stakeholders.
- Deliverables: Five distinct case studies highlighting project achievements, provided in both Khmer and English
Final Project Evaluation (01 Project)
- Purpose: To assess the effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the project activities and provide recommendations for future initiatives.
- Deliverables: A comprehensive evaluation report covering findings and lessons learned, provided in both Khmer and English.
Budget & Application Details
- Estimated Budget:
- Project Evaluation: $1,500.
- Case Study Documentation: $300.
- (Prices include 10% VAT or 15% Withholding Tax).
- Eligibility: Open to registered firms or individual consultants
- Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in project evaluation, case study documentation, and natural resource management or gender-related development.
